Reassign Phone Number Tool
Background
Every week, a process runs in Rock that checks to see if multiple people in the database have the same phone number. If multiples are found, then the process attempts to select the correct person who should have the phone number and removes it from any other individuals.While the process is pretty accurate, there is no way for it to work correctly 100% of the time. Phone numbers will incorrectly be removed from the wrong person from time to time. This can lead to issues when check-in on the weekends if the phone number no longer exists on someone in the family trying to check-in.
To fix this quickly, use this tool to take a phone number and re-assign it to the correct person.
