God’s heart is, and has always been, beating for people.

From the beginning of time, God had the Church in mind – people “called out” and “set apart” for His purpose. A group of passionate and Spirit-filled people to change the atmosphere of the world around them, and to bring hope and a future to others by being a part of God’s family.

In East Bay, that is our heartbeat too.

Get Involved

We believe that 100% participation in prayer is vital to our success. As we ask, seek, and pray corporately and individually, God will speak to us, showing us what our part will be. We promise.

We want 100% of our people participating in some capacity. Maybe you’ve never given before. This is a perfect time to start, and to see God’s faithfulness that he promises (even challenges us to do) in His word. Is it a whole new way to trust God? Yes. Is it a sacrifice and challenge? Of course. But we guarantee that it is also the way we can affect an entire region for Christ.

We are believing for 100% of people who make a commitment to follow through – as God provides “seed to the sower.” We all want to take these pledges very seriously, as they are truly tied to individuals whose names we will be placing in the very foundations of our new home. Names of souls that we are believing for. Names of loved ones who keep us up at night in prayer sometimes. Names of those who just need a great church like ours.

We are excited to announce that the Bridge Church will be joining our TFH East Bay family and their current facility will become a permanent home for the East Bay campus! Here are some answers to frequent questions about this transition.

  • What is happening with The Bridge Church?
The Bridge Church is transitioning to The Father’s House. The Bridge Church will have its last service on December 22nd. The Father’s House will begin upgrading the facilities and getting ready to open as, The Father’s House East Bay Campus, completion of remodel and open date TBD. Pastors Dave and Donna Patterson are the Lead Pastors of The Father’s House and will be our new pastors.

  • How did this decision come about?
Pastors Russ and Adrienne, along with The Bridge Church Elders, have been praying for quite some time as to what a succession plan will look like for them and The Bridge Church.  This decision is the result of many supernatural factors and conversations which took place over the last 5 months.  Not a single step forward was taken without 100% agreement by The Bridge Church Elders and the Executive team at The Father’s House.

  • What does it mean to be a "Campus"?
The Father’s House is one church many locations. Each location or campus is unique but very much the same. All TFH services are similar, with different worship teams, campus pastors and identical sermons (live stream) at all five TFH locations and last about 75-80 minutes. Services at the Vacaville Campus are Saturday nights at 6:00pm and on Sundays at 9:00am and 11:00am. Napa Campus service times are Saturday nights at 6:00pm and on Sundays at 9:00am and 11:00am. East Bay Campus service times are Sundays at 9:00am & 11:00am. Prison Campus service is on Fridays and Sundays (not open to the public).  Services also broadcast online at live.tfh.org

  • Who will be our campus pastor?
The Campus Pastors will be Shane and Jamie Guy. They have both served at The Father’s House since 2000. For the past 6 years they have served as campus pastors for our TFH East Bay location. Shane is passionate about the local church and seeing people experience the Presence of God. Jamie loves ministering to women, encouraging them in the area of prayer and hearing God’s voice. Shane and Jamie married in 1997, and have three children. With a heart for the greater East Bay area, Shane and Jamie are excited to see all that God has in store for Concord through The Father’s House.

  • When is the Final Service as The Bridge Church?
The final service will be Sunday morning, December 22nd, Christmas service. We will honor Pastor Russ and Adrienne and the work that God began here, and celebrate what is to come Sunday evening, December 22nd at 6pm.

  • What will happen in the meantime?
We will invite everyone to join us for our Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, December 24th at 6pm located at The 7 Hills School (975 N San Carlos Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94598). The remodel of the facilities will begin asap to be upgraded for the new launch and live stream.

  • How can I learn more about TFH?
The best way to learn more about The Father’s House is to download the TFH App! With the TFH App you can see everything that is going on, easily connect to live stream, check out past sermons, learn about the leaders and all the ministry opportunities that TFH is involved in.

  • How do I get involved?
Attend Discover, it’s the door to all the serving opportunities at TFH. Our goal for everyone is to serve by joining the Dream Team. Discover is held on the 1st and 2nd Sundays each month.

  • What about Youth Ministry?
TFH Youth meets every Wednesday night. Service starts at 7pm and the pre-hangout at 6:30pm. Our service includes worship, preaching, games/hangout time, and small groups. On Sunday’s, we have a youth section where students can get connected and sit together. Throughout the week we have small groups on different days & times that meet in leaders homes to learn the Bible, make friends, and have fun.

  • What about Small Groups?
Everyone currently attending in The Bridge Church will have the same opportunity to join a small group. We will begin to add small group leaders as they complete Discover and show an interest to lead a group.

  • What about Community Outreach (We Love Our City)
We have many of the same outreach ministry opportunities happening in Vacaville available in each city. The number of scope of the ministry is designed around the attendance size of each campus. Check out weloveourcity.org or on the TFH App under “Make a Difference” to see all the ministry opportunities that are available to serve the community of Concord.
